Gold Buying EventsQuestion: Are we local and/or how often are we at a location?Answer: We are generally at the same locations each week. In some states we will test different locations for marketing purposes, but generally when we visit a city we will have following events within the same city or a reasonable driving distance from a recent event. We have stores located in Gilbert, AZ as well as Kansas City, MO for your convenience and hotel gold buying events throughout the country each week. Question: Are the buying events busy, how long do I have to wait? Answer: Generally when visiting our gold buying events you walk in and are greeted and are helped right away. In seldom cases there may be a short wait as we are helping other customers with their items. If you prefer a private appointment we can accommodate your needs, call 877-800-1077. Question: Can you remove my stones? Answer: If your item(s) contain stones in prongs we can safely remove them. If the stones are set inside a setting we are unable to remove without the risk of damage to the stones. Question: How long does it take to get paid for jewelry and other items? Answer: You will be paid at the time of the sale with a check from Gold Stash for Cash. Question: What is the "spot price?" Answer: "Spot price" refers to the market price that a precious metal like silver, gold, or platinum is trading at that day. Question: How do you determine the amount of gold in a piece of jewelry? Answer: We use a unit called a "pennyweight." Twenty pennyweight or dwt is equal to one ounce. Question: What kind of items can I bring in and is there a limit? Answer: There is no limit on the items you can bring, as long as they are made of gold, silver, or platinum. Everything from a broken necklace to old silverware can be turned into cash. Question: What if I don't like the price you're offering or have changed my mind? Answer: If you don't agree with the price being offered, then you are under no obligation to sell your jewelry or items. It's your choice. If you have sold an item and changed your mind, return your check within fourteen days to have your items returned. Question: Do we buy coins? Answer: Yes we buy rare coins including (but not limited to): Penny (wheat), Nickel (Buffalo), Dime ('64 and earlier), Quarter ('64 and earlier), Silver Dollar, 50 cent ('70 and earlier), pure gold coins, pure silver coins. Question: Do you buy silver without a hallmark? Answer: We purchase silver that is stamped 925, Sterling or 999 Pure Silver. If the item does not contain the stamp we will not be able to purchase the item(s). Mailing JewelryQuestion: If I want to mail in my gold, do I need to pay for the package? Can I use my own package?Answer: The package to mail in your gold is provided for free, and we even insure the package for up to $1,000. You can add additional insurance if you want. If you don't want to wait to receive a package from us, you can send in your own. Question: If I mail in my items, how can I find out if you have received my package? Answer: Tracking is available for customers who use our packages. You can utilize your tracking number to access our online database and determine if your package has arrived. Question: What if my items are too big or I would like extra security for my jewelry? Answer: Our packaging is usually secure enough for most jewelry, but if you have concerns or find that the item you wish to send is too large, you can call 877-800-1077 and we will work with you to make sure you are satisfied. Question: How am I paid when I mail my items in? Answer: We will mail you a check for your items received and any items we cannot purchase will be returned securely for you. If you prefer same day payment we offer a rapid cash option to wire the funds directly into your bank account. Question: Do you buy items internationally? Answer: We currently do not offer an international shipping or purchasing option. Gold PartiesQuestion: I want to host a gold party, how do I get started?Answer: To request a home gold party simply fill out the request form on our gold party page and an event coordinator will get you started. Question: As a host, do I need to provide food? Answer: Gold Stash for Cash can provide food credit and/or raffle prizes depending on the particular party. Question: Am I paid to host a gold party? Answer: As the party host, you will make 10% of the total purchases at your party. So, if we purchased $7500 for items at your party, you would make $750. Question: Do I have any expenses to host a party? Answer: There are no expenses to you as the host. We provide marketing tools, evite, staff, food, and raffle prizes for your event. Question: How long does a gold party last? Answer: In general gold parties will last 2-3 hours, whether you want to stay and play when we're done that's up to you. FundraisersQuestion: I want to host a fundraiser, how do I get started?Answer: Call 1-877-800-1077 or fill out our contact form to request a fundraiser. An event coordinator will contact you to get started. Question: What days are you able to host a fundraiser? Answer: We are available 7 days a week for your convenience outside of major holidays. Question: How much does our organization make for hosting a fundraiser? Answer: Gold Stash for Cash pays your organization 20% of the total purchased throughout your fundraiser. So, if your fundraiser total purchase was $39,000 we would pay your organization $7,800. Question: How soon am I paid for hosting a fundraiser? Answer: You are paid at the end of your fundraiser event. If your event is a single day event you are paid the same day. If your event is spread over 3 days you are paid at the end of the event for the total purchased amount. Question: Does it cost me any money to host a fundraiser? Answer: Gold Stash for Cash provides all the marketing material, event supplies, raffle prizes and staff, so there is no expense to you. We make it as painless and profitable as possible for your organization to raise funds. Question: I want to host a fundraiser, how soon can I schedule it? Answer: We suggest you give a minimum of 2 weeks to promote your fundraiser and 3-4 weeks is an ideal timeline to market, schedule and prepare supplies for your fundraiser. |
